Lynn Rawlinson
I graduated in 2002 from the University of Central Lancashire after sitting a 3yr degree with honours in herbal medicine. After graduation I joined the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and have run my home practice ever since as a general herbal practitioner.
This interest in herbal medicine came from my lifelong love of nature, and in my 20’s I studied and worked in practical Nature Conservation and woodland management. I am amazed and in wonderment of the healing properties of plants and I have a passion for herbal medicine making, I love to spend time sustainably collecting herbs, and preparing herbal medicines, especially old time herbs that can no longer be purchased but have excellent healing properties. These herbs have historically been used as medicine but just fallen out of favour usually due to being replaced within Herbal Materia Medica’s often with foreign herbs. I have also trained in Aromatherapy, Body Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Reiki level 2 and I have spent over 25yrs following a druidic path with the Bards Ovates & Druids.
Over the last few years, I have been tutoring Student Clinical Sessions and I am also presently helping with the management at a private woodland to increase the natural diversity of fauna and flora with possibilities of running future herbal courses at the reserve.
