Gabrielle is a PhD Phytochemistry Candidate and Science Educator. Having first studied her undergraduate BSc in Chemistry at The University of Sheffield and Paul Sabatier Université de Toulouse III, Gabrielle then moved onto obtaining her QTS as a Secondary Science Teacher. In 2019, Gabrielle returned to research and completed her MSc in Medicinal Natural Products and Phytochemistry at UCL School of Pharmacy, London, before embarking on a new life in Portugal, where she is now completing her PhD at the Universidade Lusófona, Lisbon.

Gabrielle’s main research areas are medicinal chemistry and phytochemistry, with an emphasis on the chemistry of natural products. Gabrielle has published several papers in international journals, engaged in numerous panel discussions and oral presentations, and has presented at national and international meetings. Alongside her research, Gabrielle is also a certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher.
